It's My Life ~ And I Love It

Here is a little Christmas tag that has been floating around the blogosphere... play along if you want...


Wrapping paper or gift bags? Gift bags are awesome for any other time year than Christmas. Christmas gifts are so beautiful when they are wrapped, tagged and ribboned up. My tags have to match my wrapping paper and all the different types of wrapping paper that I use have to coordinate with each other. Ribbons and bows too, lots of them. Wait, I do love to use the fabric shimmer bags with beautiful ribbon. The prettier the wrapping the better the gift, even if it is from the dollar store.

Real or Artificial tree? Artificial. I LOVE a real tree, but can't deal with the mess. I love that no two are the same and a real tree smells like Christmas to me.

When do you put up the tree? Thanksgiving weekend.

When do you take the tree down? The day after Christmas. I always think that I want to wait until after New Years but can't seem to make myself hold out that long.

Do you like Eggnog? Yuck!!!!!!! Just the thought of what's in it makes my tummy turn.


Favorite gift received as a child? Barbie house with a pull string elevator. I'll never forget how it seemed to be almost as big as the tree and how much I wanted to move right into it.

Hardest person to buy for? Teen kids...they want BIG items and that makes for fewer gift to open.

Easiest person to buy for? Broc and Destany...they will still make me a list.

Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I don't love the packaged gifts sets of shower gel,lotion and what ever else comes in them, that you can get from Walmart-K-Mart -Target. Tacky

Favorite Christmas Movie? A Christmas Story and Elf..I love to laugh

When do you start shopping for Christmas? Varies

Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes

Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Fudge

Lights on the tree? Only about a million!

Favorite Christmas song? Oh Holy Night

Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home. We are traveling this year and so I have only put half the effort into decorating.

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Yes... if I sing the song!

Angel on the tree top or a star? Star

Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? PJs Christmas Eve and the rest Christmas Day.

Most annoying thing about this time of the year? When Christ is taken out of Christmas.

Favorite ornament theme or color? Bright colors...all of them

Favorite for Christmas dinner? Ham, cheesy potatoes, etc...
