"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."Gordon B. So, December Was Amazing...The Begining

I have phone calls and email to requesting that I get this blog going again, so here goes....It will be in stages because I don't want to miss a thing.

December was a very good month at my house. It started in November when Amanda came out for Thanksgiving and stayed until the 7th. It was so much fun to have her here. We went to the Mall of America and the Rosedale Mall shopping and we went to lunch more than once. We went to the movie and watched movies at home. We decorated for Christmas and she made us each our own beautiful ornament. As always, we rocked out with Rock band and played games. She and Broc made rock videos and did some night snowboarding in the backyard.

Amanda getting us started decorating the tree...

Broc hanging our stockings...they don't seem so high up that his pants should be dropping that far down...hmmmm

Destany taking a break to look good

Amanda found some of Tom and the boy's this and that's to keep warm in.

Broc is being very patient with Amanda while silently laughing...she isn't the best snowboarder, but try's really hard to keep up wiith the big boy's.

I love these kids like crazy!
While Amanda was here I hosted a cookie exchange with some of the best cookie/candy makers in all of Minnesota. It was a blast! We had a potluck brunch (yum), shared our favorite Christmas traditions and then we each had a box that we filled with little notes that we had written why we admired/loved each other . Everyone took home tons of yummy goodies and cute little boxes filled with wonderful thought on why they are so special. I will treasure my box forever! I'm seriously so blessed with the most amazing friends and they are darn good bakers too. We really should continue to do an exchange of some sort monthly.
